For veterans who have passed away, we encourage families to submit “In Memory” tributes. These special tributes honor their legacy and ensure their service is never forgotten.
During the exhibit, we will have a dedicated “In Memory” section where families can share photos, stories, and mementos of their loved ones. Items left at The Wall will be collected and preserved as part of the permanent memorial collection.
In Memory Program Application
The In Memory Program allows family and friends to honor loved ones who have passed away by submitting their names to be read aloud during the Closing Ceremony of The Wall That Heals. This is a meaningful way to ensure that those who have gone before us are never forgotten.
Program Details
- Names will be read during the Closing Ceremony on Saturday, June 7, 2026
- Participants are encouraged to attend the Closing Ceremony
- One photo per veteran may be displayed during the ceremony
- Submission deadline: May 15, 2026
